Mainz - chairs back to the DFB: On the 39th Federation of the world's largest parliament was elected, what it's worth.

Theo Zwanziger confirmed in office. The DFB president was reelected in 2010 and will at least be at the head of the association.
Oliver Bierhoff and Matthias Sammer has been "promoted". Both moved into the DFB Bureau. Bierhoff (national team manager) and Sammer (sporting director) have been elected to the 18-member board and have voting rights in the future.
By Hannelore Ratzeburg was also the first woman elected to the presidency. It is intended mainly responsible for women's and girls' soccer.
Somewhat more complicated: Wolfgang Niersbach has been appointed as the new Secretary General. He will succeed Horst R. Schmidt, in turn, assumes the post of treasurer. Niersbach was responsible as a DFB director for the team management, youth, talent development and coach sector.
